Did you lose something in one of our vehicles? Then check on iLost to see if your item has been found. It is not necessary to call our customer service. We are happy to explain to you how we deal with found objects, how iLost works and how to report an object.

We do not log any paper currency, diplomas or bank cards. We send passports and other identification documents directly to the municipality that issued them.
We are not responsible for any personal property lost on our vehicles.
I lost something on my journey. How can I get my lost property back?
At the end of the day, we collect all found items from inside our vehicles. We log these items on the GVB page on iLost Nederland. Have you lost something? If so, visit iLost and see if your item has been listed. You can also request that your item be returned to you via iLost.

What is iLost and how does it work?
iLost & Found
We log all found items on a special GVB page on iLost. Look through all the items here or describe what you are looking for to see whether your item is there.
We post all found items online after 14.00 on Monday to Friday. So what happens if you lost something on Friday and we found it? It will be posted online the following Monday.
Please bear in mind that lost items are not posted online immediately at 14.00. Checking again later in the day is recommended.
How does it work?
Visit iLost, and request that your lost item be returned. It is important for you to go through the entire process in order to establish yourself as the owner. Only then can you make an appointment to pick up the item at the iLost location or have it sent to your home. Visits to the iLost service location are by appointment only. The location is near the Isolatorweg metro station. If the item is sent to you, there will be shipping costs.
Where can I report a found item?
You can give found items to GVB employees or bring them to the GVB Service & Tickets counter. It is helpful for us to know where and when you found the item.
Did you find an item on one of our vehicles and want to return it to the owner yourself? You can also do that through iLost! Just follow the steps you need to take to report a found item.
Logging passports or other forms of identification on iLost is not permitted. Send the document back to the municipality that issued it.
