Shopping in the GVB webshop

If you travel with a Randstad Noord Zone season ticket, you can buy this season ticket at our web shop. And you can also purchase an e-purse balance, a GVB day ticket, or a GVB night bus ticket.

Isn't it complicated to purchase a season ticket online?

Not at all. Go to the web shop to order and pay for your season ticket in a few simple steps with or without a MijnGVB account. Afterwards, you only need load your OV-chipkaart at one of the many vending machines in the city. There is always one in your neighbourhood.

How do I order my season ticket in the webshop?

In the web shop select your desired season ticket (or first request advice at en.gvb.nl/advies).
Enter your public transport chip card number (it you are entitled to a age discount, the reduced fare will be shown automatically).
Choose your desired start date.
To pay (with IDEAL), log into your MyGVB account. If you do not have an account, you can create one or continue without an account. However, you will need an email address to receive a confirmation of your order.
Once you have paid, your can pick up your order at one of the many vending machines.

Advantages of online purchases and a MyGVB account

You do not have to stand in line at a GVB Service & Tickets branch. In fact, you can order travel products 24/7.
In the webshop, it is easy to repeat an earlier purchase.
You will receive an email confirming your purchase and listing the VAT you paid. This is really useful for your VAT declaration.
You can easily manager your own personal details.
You can set an Alert for your favorite route(s). You will then receive an email alert when there is a diversion on the route.

A MyGVB account allows you to easily repeat earlier purchases in the webshop. MyGVB makes online purchases personal and easy. You can also set an Alert for your favorite route. You will then receive an email alert when there is a diversion on your route, which will allow you to take that into account when travelling.
