Diversion on your route? You'll know with an Alert
We will send you an Alert when there is a planned diversion or current disruption on your favourite route(s). You can register in two different ways, either via Gappie, the GVB app, or via MyGVB.
Alert via the GVB app and via MyGVB
Use MyGVB to indicate your favorite route(s) and you will receive an e-mail from us containing an Alert about any planned diversions on your route(s). And, we will also send you an Alert about any planned changes to the timetable, such as the summer timetable or new year's timetable.
Set up your alert too via the GVB travel app (iOS and Android), then you will receive an alert not just in the case of a planned diversion, but also a current disruption. This happens in the form of a push notification.

How do you set up an alert in the GVB travel app?
- In the 'Meer' (More) menu, you will find the option 'Seintje' (alert)
- Turn on your notifications here, select the time periods and days and your favourite line(s)
- Go to your phone settings and enable push notifications for the GVB travel app
Once you have completed your alert settings, you will receive a notification about the next planned diversion or current disruption on your preferred route(s).

- log in or create an account
- in the menu, select "Alert" and then select your favorite route(s)
