The Extension Ticket ("NS extension ticket") is available as a supplement to a Dutch Railways (NS) day ticket, monthly travel pass, monthly season ticket and annual season ticket. Holders of a monthly or annual NS season ticket can buy an extension allowing them to travel on local and regional transport in up to three nominated zones. This is useful if, for example, your journey to and from work involves both train and bus, tram or metro travel.
The NS Extension Ticket is available from NS counters at railway stations.
