Section 7 - Validity and withdrawal of a travel pass

In exchange for a receipt, Transport Company may withdraw a passenger’s travel pass and remove passenger or have passenger removed from the vehicle, when: a. passenger violates or does not comply with a legal or contractual stipulation concerning transportation and Transport Company cannot in reasonableness be asked to further transport the passenger; b. passenger travels on an invalid travel pass, is misusing the travel pass or is making inspection of the travel pass difficult or impossible; c. passenger fails to comply with the stipulations for acquiring a travel pass or payment thereof.

A travel pass is not valid at all when: a. its validity date has expired; b. it has been altered illegally; c. it has been revised or defaced; d. it is not or no longer sufficiently legible; e. the passport picture underneath the protective coating is easily accessible.

In case of withdrawal or removal, passenger is not entitled to any refund, not even for the time passenger could not dispose of his travel pass.

In case a travel pass which was issued in someone’s name has been withdrawn, for reason of invalidity or misuse, or when the passenger prevented or obstructed inspection thereof, passenger does not have a right to a new travel pass issued in this passenger’s name.

In case the passenger in question can prove that the circumstance leading to the withdrawal and/or removal cannot be ascribed to him, subsections 3 and 4 of this section are not applicable.
